Position: Release Manager

Experience: 5 to 7 years

Job Description:

• Software release plan, track and deploy the production releases for applications (Java, .Net and other tools/technologies)
• Engage from the beginning of the change lifecycle till the tracking of the development, managing the scope lock windows, ensuring changes are ready in time for testing, and executing the cutover and deployment of the release across the enterprise for multiple applications across various portfolios
• Track the progress and health of each release, generate comprehensive reporting, and escalating when risks are identified
• Ensure changes are on time available for UAT, especially when system is regulated and requires proper quality sign off
• Coordinate with testing team, accommodate the regression testing
• Escalation of relevant risks and issue to Senior Project / Program Management
• Ensure the delivery and application of a common delivery management framework including Methodology, Governance, SoW, Status Reporting and Risk and Issue Management
• Ensure that all projects are delivered aligned with Release Management Processes
• Manage and support projects and tasks of various sizes of cross functional applications and the related processes; examples are software implementations, integrations, optimizations, upgrades, and patches
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
• Follow change management procedures to promote changes to production
• Follow governance and compliance procedures related to Audit and SOX controls
• Coordination of vendor and third-party resources
• Proactively communicate all Release activities including Customer Impact, Back-out, 
  Pilot and/or Rollout Plans to Extended-Release Team Members and Management.
• Report out of support issues and threats to process to appropriate team to investigate further
• Working with the team of Production Support, attending production calls

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology
• 4 to 6 years of experience holding a key role in the software development lifecycle including managing multiple concurrent software releases
• Experience in Footprints for Change Management, Azure ADO, Microsoft (.NET) Technologies, Azure cloud
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and facilitation skills
• Ready to work in shifts on rotation basis even during the weekends and ready to accept split Weekly Offs
